A sweeper attempting to play in a strikers position??? I heard this so called 'Star' of the Colts fancies his chances of playing there each week. Come on the Colts how low are you stooping?? It CERTAINLY wouldn't be a wise move with the class you already have in this position.

Well said - Although the so called "Star" did play well when he went up to the striker position it left our defence open for attack and that is what happend with the second goal. I can undersatnd why he would want to go up to the forward position because we needed to get a goal but surely there is a better strategy than sending our last man in defence to stiker? I think its something the coach should speak about with the boys.
opportunity to pick up our first 3 points on Saturday tho, just need to grab a few goals. Question is will the sweeper score them?

I cannot remember the player in question ever calling himself a "star" but what i will say is this, have gave the Stonehaven defence more problems in the 5-10 minutes he was there than we did for pretty much the rest of the game. Yes it left us exposed at the back, but when you are losing 1-0 then would you rather lose 1-0 by sticking to defending or lose 2-0 by having a right go at them... i know which my preference would be - winning 2-1 by having a right go at them... Yes 3 points on Saturday is a possibility if we can keep up the same level of performance as in the last couple of weeks and not leak silly goals, i reckon Talis might just open his account this weekend....

If your performances over the last couple of weeks had been of a good level then you would have beaten an under performing Westhill and poor Bridge of Don side. They were great opportunities missed.

final score 2-2, cant believe we didnt come out of that with a win, lots of good chances missed and Shaun the BOD keeper made a couple of good saves.
