last game of the season, going into it with 0 points after Bridge of Don folded, and facing Hilton, where 2 of our players have gone too.
I tihnk everyone is well up for it and would be huge if we could put a dent in Hilton's title hopes
Wait and see

sorry m8!! but at least the players who turned up for you were committed Yeah they were - and my thanks goes out to each and every one of them who showed the loyalty and commitment right through to the end of the season. The assessment at the start of the season on the Villa Website was bang on, we were out of our depth, we didnt belong in the A league, and we kinda got there by luck of the draw. The fact we were drawn in a 4 team group, with one of those seeded teams, simply not wanting to be there, and the one team that apparently did want to be there, simply not possessing the quality to get there (they were beaten by us twice so that says it all). To go into the A League with 1 win is ridiculous, and makes a total mockery of the qualifying system, however to be fair to the authorities, i cannot see how it can be improved upon. during our qualifiers, one certain team drew with their opponents in the qualifying group, and then the following week in a different competition, hammered the same opponents, this is at the start of the season, when everyone would have still be fresh and available. While there is no way i would ever slate the players who did give me that commitment throughout the whole season, i will also add, a more experienced coach and tactically minded manager would have got several better results during the course of the season, i still maintain we were a better footballing team, than say Bridge of Don and dare i say it Stonehaven, the bulk of possession we had in these games would support that, but when it came to the crunch, causing problems in the opposing box and taking chances and scoring goals, we were never at the races. However it is all in the past now and the bulk of these lads will now head off to mingle with the Glasgow/Edinburgh/Stirling women and maybe even spend some time at the universities there, all that is left for me to say to them all is, thanks for supporting us in the last few years, most of it has been a pleasure working with you all, and wish you all the very best in your future careers. ;D
